To call everyone to Christ-centered living and laboring for God’s greater glory.
How will we do this?
Our vision is our GUIDE
| G | – | Gain others |
| U | – | Under the power of the HS |
| I | – | Instructing them to imitate Christ |
| D | – | Discipling them to disciple others |
| E | – | Expand the kingdom of God |
Our values are what FEED us:
| F | – | Faith in a God of the impossible |
| E | – | Expectancy that God will work through us |
| E | – | Excellence in all we do |
| D | – | Development in personal growth/learning |
Our goals are what give us our FOCUS:
| F | – | Forward thinking |
| O | – | Outside our limits |
| C | – | Clear and concrete |
| U | – | Uphold our vision and values |
| S | – | Simply stated |
Our process should produce DEPTH:
| D | – | Discipleship |
| E | – | Evangelism |
| P | – | Prayer |
| T | – | Transferable tools |
| H | – | Holy Spirit dependence |
In other words, we exist to evangelize the world (Mt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; John 4:35), to bring individual believers to Christ-likeness (Eph. 4:11-16), and so expand the circle of praise and worship of God (John 12:1-8).
As can be seen from the scripture references, our vision is and should be an extension of Christ’s vision, because He is the Head of the church.
