Welcome To BCC

We consider your visit a great privilege. Thank you for taking the time to check us out.  BCC is a family of Christ-centered believers who seek to blend the traditional and contemporary together in a loving balance.

We have former Methodists and Charismatics, Baptists and Catholics joining together to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. We strive to have young people and mature adults studying the Word of God side by side in discipleship relationships, and our Sunday morning service is intentionally intergenerational.

Amidst our morally relative culture, you will find BCC to be solid on Biblical principles while remaining humble and transparent in spirit.  In an age of multimedia, you will hear the rustle of Bible pages being turned as believers verify the messages against our final authority, God's Word.

We would be honored by your presence at any of our services, but most chose to start by attending our Sunday celebration service at 10:30 AM.  Come experience the BCC family!

FASCINATION or FOLLOWING

‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.’  At once they left their nets and followed him."  —  Mark 1:17-18

No doubt most of you saw the lightning show last week.  It certainly was an impressive display of power.  Then, there were the funnel clouds here and the tornados down south which also displayed significant power.  In the face of power beyond ourselves it is interesting to see how people respond.  In the mall, which was hit by a tornado, everyone submitted to the rules.  In the north, where the funnel clouds formed, there was tremendous curiosity as cars lined up along Irving St. to take pictures and watch.  When that kind of power is far away, we tend toward fascination.  The words “cool” and “amazing” come out of our mouths.  But when that kind of power is on top of us, we tend toward either panic or total submission—following orders.
